The ACLS Provider course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage cardiac arrest, stable and unstable cardiac rhythms, acute coronary syndrome, airway management and stroke of an adult. This course is designed for emergency department staff, intensive care units, or critical care departments, physicians, nurses, emergency techs, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

The ACLS Provider Course is designed to teach providers the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult VF/VT arrest. Students are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: respiratory emergency, 4 types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA, and asystole), 4 types of pre-arrest emergencies (bradycardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia, and acute coronary syndromes), and stroke.

This is a ACLS and BLS Combination Renewal Course you”ll do Your ACLS course in the morning and Healthcare Provider BLS Course in the afternoon you receive both certification the same day. A Current 2015 ACLS and BLS Book is required for this course.
HeartCode® ACLS (a blend of online study and Hands-on Practical Skills Testing)
HeartCode ACLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session.
HeartCode ACLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. To enter the course, students must complete a precourse self-assessment. Students will then be presented with a team dynamics lesson and 10 In-hospital patient cases, including a BLS case and 2 megacode cases. The cases may be repeated as many times as necessary to pass. Upon successful completion of all the patient cases, students will take a multiple choice exam and must pass with a minimum score of 84%.
