Public CPR Courses
Almost 70% of cardiac arrests occur at home and only 45% of cardiac arrest victims receive CPR from bystanders. The AHA offers a variety of programs that Instructors can offer communities and schools to teach them about the importance of learning CPR and acting quickly in an emergency.
These classes are for the anyone interested in providing basic emergency help until EMS (Emergency Medical Services) arrive.

ASHI CPR, AED and Basic First Aid Combination Training (for all ages)
This is an online blended training format. Students will complete an online portion, followed by a hands-on skills session conducted by an HSI instructor in our simulation lab ran daily by appointment. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session will receive a Nationally recognized HSI completion Certificate good for two years
Indented audience – individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certification in CPR/AED & First Aid. (Teachers, Coaches, Day care workers, Personal Trainers, Nanny’s, Boat Captions needing AMESHI-197 certification)
Cost $ 75.00 for the whole course.
Once you have registered online your online course will be issued with an hour if registered is done during business office hours 9-5 daily, after hours registration the course will issued the next day.

First Aid Course provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.

Bloodborne Pathogens
This self-directed eLearning course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Bloodborne Pathogens Online was designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as
- Childcare workers
- Security guards
- Maintenance workers
- School personnel
- Hotel housekeepers
